SAFARI OVERVIEW

This 2-days 1 night camping safari allows you to experience the highlights of Tarangire NP and Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Crater). You will experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes; monkeys in the forest, lions in trees, elephants amongst acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano.

ARUSHA- TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Pick up from hotel in Arusha or airport and drive to Tarangire National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. The Tarangire River which is the life blood of this national park ensures a year round supply of water and the river beds takes centre stage when animals gather to get this rare commodity resulting into magnificent wildlife actions when the predators try to grab a meal taking advantage of the moment. Later in the afternoon you will drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 1

Descend Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha Town

Following breakfast around 6:00 am descend into the crater floor for a day game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is one the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in the whole of Africa. All the BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera; others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, and Hyena. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more other bird families are easily be spotted.

Enjoy a day game viewing of Ngoitoktok springs picnic site in the late afternoon your guide drives back to Arusha town for your own arrangement
